Those of you well versed in the entertainment industry might be aware that the nation’s television landscape is about to change dramatically when two struggling networks, the WB and UPN, merge into the deftly titled “CW” network.

Football fans should forget the fact that two billion-dollar companies evidently have Seinfeld’s Mr. Pitt working in the “creative name” department and realize that the new network is working on the most exciting reality show to ever hit the airwaves.

Brought to you by executive producer Ashton Kutcher, the genius who gave us 'Punk'd' and 'Beauty and the Geek,' the untitled project is looking for the biggest pariah in professional sports.

Obviously, with that goal in mind, the show’s producers settled in the City of Brotherly Love where the sports world’s undisputed “King Imbecile” used to reside.

And let’s face it....Terrell Owens didn’t disappoint. Owens was “Leon” from those Budweiser commercials come to life and took such a commanding lead into the clubhouse that even Greg Norman couldn’t have blown it.

The producers packed up and left Philadelphia extremely confident that they did indeed find the sports world’s biggest outcast but a funny thing happened -- They stopped in Detroit Rock City for Super Bowl XL and were greeted by a traveling circus of a family more inane that Owens himself.

Unfortunately, for Eagles’ fans -- It was Mama McNabb and Donovan, who put together a late day push for the title at hand that would have made Eldrick Woods himself green with envy.

Of particular significance was McNabb’s comment regarding Owens’ diatribe that the Eagles would have been in a better situation if they had had Brett Favre at quarterback rather than McNabb, a thought that was first broached to the public by none other than Michael Irvin.

“It was like, it’s unreal. That’s like me going out and saying, ‘Hey, if we had Steve Largent. If we had Joe Jurevicius. It was definitely a slap in the face to me,” said McNabb. “It was a slap in the face because, as deep as people want to go into it, it was black-on-black crime.”

Huh?

The politically correct members of my brethren would have you believe that McNabb is a smart guy but come on? Smart people don’t make statements like that and they also don’t throw balls directly to Roy Williams either.

Nope, it’s time to be honest and dig up those Wonderlic scores and question the veracity of that Syracuse education.

The Chunky Soup star’s uber-sensitive son then droned on and on about be treated unfairly by the entire world. It was breathtaking - - I haven’t heard such passive aggressive tactics since wife number one was still in my life.

Of course, the sane of us know, the only black-on-black crime in this saga was what Donovan did to himself.

And with that in mind, I would like to congratulate Mr. McNabb for stealing the title from the man he hates most. Well done!

And congratulations for becoming the biggest pariah in professional sports.
