Colts Sign Rookie Safety Jamie Silva

Indianapolis Star - The Colts have signed rookie safety Jamie Silva in hopes of adding depth to their secondary, according to Indianapolis Star.

The Colts moved Silva to the active roster from the practice squad in preparation for Sunday's game with the Jaguars.

Silva's addition was necessary since starting safety Bob Sanders is out with an ankle injury, and backup Matt Giordano missed two days of practice with back spasms. [READ]
