Cal Might Play At Candlestick During Renovation

San Francisco Chronicle - Memorial Stadium, home of the California Golden Bears, will soon undergo a $200 million renovation, and the team might play at Candlestick Park during the construction.

What they have (to decide) is whether the Berkeley stadium is seismically safe for them to continue playing in - and there are regents who believe it is not," said Jared Blumenfeld, acting director of San Francisco's Recreation and Park Department, who has been in talks over the Bears' potential move to city-owned Candlestick Park.
